I love working with children as my daytime job and to think that there are many children in the world every day fighting life threatening illnesses is terrible! But to have that one wish granted is an amazing thing. In my opinion I think positive thinking and happeiness helps when your unwell, imagine what making a child with a life threatening condition's wish come true, that little bit of joy that might help them though one of the many bad days they go though. Make-A-Wish is an international charity and one that I think is worth while. If you would like to donate, you can find more info here!

My best friend's brother died last year of brain cancer. She was so devastated, because they were really close, so my wish would be that she could see him again, because she didn't have the chance to say goodbye.

Well, my daughter has always wanted to have a sister, but instead she got 3 little brothers. While I wouldn't change having my 3 boys, I do wish I would have had at least one more daughter so she could have a sister. I love my sisters so much and am a little sad that my daughter doesn't get to experience that. Thanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteI would grant a wish for my grandfather's brother (what's the name??) since he is 105yrs old this year and can barely get out of bed. I visited him in Hong Kong when I was younger, and he was the happiest, most energetic 98yr old you would have seen.

I would REALLY like to grant my own wish, which is that everyone I know and love be happy and healthy. But as that is nearly impossible, I will just say that if I can make someone happy with something I could do, then I would hope I would do it. Even if it's something little and silly. Or big and scary.

My wish would be for my granddaughter to be able to have her trach and stomach tube removed soon. She's 3 and had to have major reconstructive surgery on her throat to remove scar tissue from being intubated after her birth. She was born at 23 weeks weighing 1 pound 2.3 ounces and was 11 1/2 inches long. She spent 4 months in the NICU. She is our little miracle.
