Sunday Post #42- The book shopping weekend

The Sunday post was created by Caffeinated Book Reviewer this is a post where we recap on the going on's on the blog the week previous and the week coming up as well as the awesome books we have received, bought or been gifted for review!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend :) Its my dad's birthday today so I will be meeting him later hopefully for some cake and food. He is so hard to buy for, you ask him what he wants and he always says nothing.  So this year I have decided just to give him a nice card and money to get whatever the heck he want LOL

I also had a fun shopping trip yesterday with my sister , I got some awesome new trinkets for my bookshelf and of course books. I will be showing them off over on Instagram (megan_readingawaythedays ) though out next week (when I manage to take some photos, I take forever) and I will hopefully have my book haul up next week as I have gotten so many awesome books this month.

Onto what has been happening on my blog this week:

Coming this week:

June Releases I am excited for

Review: Royal Disaster (book 2) by Parker Swift

Harry Potter tag and giveaway

Summer bucket list TBR

 Some things from my week:

*I finally brought ACOTAR by Sarah J Mass

* I had a delicious waffle with white chocolate and wish I had them more

* And I saw on a Sunday Post last week but can't remember who's but they are part of this thing called Postcrossing where you send postcards around the world so I joined. I have three to send to Russia, one to Germany and one to Latvia. It's a great way to connect with people around the world. You can find out more here

Some songs am loving:

How has your work been?

  2. Oh, postcrossing is still alive :) I last heard about it years ago, when I was into snail mailing myself. Hope you get some nice post cards and have a great week :)

  3. Hope your dad has a great birthday. I always enjoy getting gift cards...my kids usually give me movie passes or Amazon cards.

Postcards...I love them! I have a collection of them that hangs in my kitchen by the "pay phone." Yes, a designer pay phone that I've had for ages, and the two "antique" things, postcards and phones, go together in my mind. LOL.

Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

  5. Happy Birthday to your dad! I find shopping for my dad to be kind of difficult too. I could get him the same things every year, but I hate that! LOL

  6. Have a wonderful day celebrating with your dad. I never know what to get my parents either. They always say "nothing" but getting them nothing feels wrong! Ugh!
