Growing up, I loved The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. And then Jim Carrey's How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I love holiday films.

Favorite Christmas book and movie (cartoon, NOT the live action) was and is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I love the humor and the messages and even the songs. :D

Favorite as a child was Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer :) While I still love that one (I think it's the music that gets to me), in recent years I watch The Polar Express (my favorite Christmas book!).

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie as a child was Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964). He was always my favorite reindeer. Thank you :)

That's a tough one but I'd have to say A Charlie brown Christmas. I always looked forward to the PEanuts holiday specials but the Christmas one most of all. I still love it. It's way too short though!
ReplyDeleteOops, ghill331@gmail.com. Sorry...
DeleteI don't really have a favorite. I like all of the ones that normally appear on the countdown to Christmas. I can always be found watching every special starting December 1. The shows are probably my favorite part of Christmas. But if I had to choose one, it would probably be the Misfit toys one. I think it's called that but I'm not sure. It's a pretty good one, though it is quite sad.

My favorites were the Animated Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman @writingpearls
ReplyDeleteoooh this is a hard one. It's between A Christmas Story which I watch every year "you'll put your eye out" and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon). Welcome Christmas is one of my favorite songs along with You're A Mean One.

ReplyDeleteCharlie Brown Christmas, my family knows that you are not allowed to speak to me when it is one. I have watched it every year for 41 years. I even have figures that my husband bought me 10 years ago by my tree. They are about 2 feet tall and they use to move. Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus. Thanks for Hosting

My favorite holiday movies growing up were A Christmas Story, Home Alone and when I was even younger Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Now I still watch all of those movies and many more but I really enjoy the Hallmark channel holiday movies, and my husband knows it's that time hahaha!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my all-time favorite Christmas movies as a kid was the claymation Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Now I love watching The Family Stone, It's a Wonderful Life, all 3 Santa Claus movies with Tim Allen, and Elf. I think Elf is slowly becoming my favorite. It gets funnier every time I watch it! Thanks for hosting :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie as a kid (and still my favorite) was National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It was a tradition for my whole family to watch it every Christmas.

My Favorite holiday movie as a child was It's A Wonderful Life. Every year, my parents and I would make cookies and hot chocolate, decorate the tree, and watch It's A Wonderful Life on December 1st. Thank you for hosting this challenge:-) It brings back great memories!

A Christmas Story. We watched it all the time growing up and I still watch it frequently, now with my own kids. :) I love when it's on for 24 hours on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. I stay up late, watching it while wrapping gifts and setting the tree.

My linky number is 4 (I think!) and my fav Christmas movie is It's A Wonderful Life. I used to watch it with my mum every year and it always gets me in the Christmas mood. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opportunity! Trish (@TrishHannon)
I have been watching the black and white 1938 version of A Christmas Carol since I was about five (it scared the dickens out of me the first few times I watched it). As an adult I try yo watch it every year. I just finished the audio book and this movie version is pretty spot on to the novella! Thanks for hosting the mini-challenge.
ReplyDeleteI cannot find the Linky on either of Kimba's Ho-Ho-Ho posts, but I am La La in the Library. I am going to find out from her which post has the Linky and I will post my # as a reply. ☺
My Linky is #26
DeleteMy favourite holiday/Christmas movies as a child were: While You Were Sleeping, Miracle on 34th Street (though the remake from 1994, I've never watched the original one, but this one they showed over & over back then), Holiday Affair (the original) & of course the Home Alone 1 &2 movies :) Yup, I loved these all. Just remembered another one The Ref. Not the typical Christmas movie, but I always found it hilarious & loved watching it, though I watched it as an adult some years ago, and I still think is hilarious & love it!
