Tulsa and the frog is a fun early reader book from Horrid Henry illustrator, Tony Ross. Tulsa and the frog follows young Tulsa who hates her name. Tulsa decides to imagine that she is the people in her storybooks from Pippi Longstocking to Goldilocks. However what if she was princess, what would her name be, Your Majesty of course! So Tulsa makes herself a crown and sets off on an adventure.

Tulsa and the frog is a perfect book for reading together with children aged 5-8 years. The story will have kids imagination running wild imagining they are various characters from fairy tales. I myself would have loved to be Snow White. : ) The illustrations remind me of the Horrid Henry illustrations, that is probably because the illustrator is the one and the same. Overall Tulsa and the frog is a fun, imaginative read that will leave kids wanting to pretend to be a storybook character's all day long!

Algy's Amazing Adventures in the jungle is a new early reader book from bestselling author Kaye Unmansky and illustrator Richard Watson. Algy is moving into a new house. His parents said it will be an adventure. Algy hates adventures, along with a list of many other things including girls, snakes and carrots. But Algy soon finds himself on an adventure into a leafy jungle at the bottom of the garden, with Cherry ( a girl no less) and confronts some of his fears along the way!

Algy's Amazing Adventure in the jungle is such a fun read. The story is fun and imagantive and is perfect for confident readers aged 6-8 years. I loved the illustrations! Children will be able to imagnie the leafty jungle with all it's mant creatures easily. There is so much to discover in the pictures you will discover more each time you read it. I think Algy's Amazing Adventures would make a great kids cartoon.

Overall Algy's Amazing Adventure in the jungle was a fun adventure with great illustrations. Kids will want to go and see if they can find a jungle at the bottom of the garden!
