Sunday Post #43- The long awaited return of the Sunday Post

The Sunday post was created by Caffeinated Book Reviewer this is a post where we recap on the going on's on the blog the week previous and the week coming up as well as the awesome books we have received, bought or been gifted for review!

Life Update

It has been a while since my last Sunday Post and so much has happened in my real life since then. I went though the possibility of losing my job due to funding, it's now semi safe thank God and due to this scare have committed myself to going back to studying just so I have a more soild back up if and when I need to look for a new job.

I also had my brothers wedding which was such an emotional day, I was an emotional wreck. It was a beautiful day and next up is my dad's wedding in September.

Blog Life

I have had good blogging months over the summer so far. I am trying to make more content that involves discussion and adding in a few videos if I can. I do feel my blogging stamina has slowed down a bit but I am still very much committed. Here is some posts that my be of interest to you from the last few months:

Around the web

San Diego Comic con has been happening this past week and we have seen some awesome trailers and panels. Two things that caught my eye was the new Justice League trailer.

And Bright a new Netflix movie with Will Smith. OMG it looks so good. Check it out:

Finally some of it my favourite books are being turned into a movie and TV show respectively by Passionflix . The This Man trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas is being turned into a TV Show and The Protector by Jodi Ellen Malpas is being turned into a movie. Exciting times ahead.

How has your summer been so far?

  2. Enjoy your reading and blogging...and weddings are a nice change from routine. My daughter had a wedding on April 1, on the beach, and in September, one of my oldest grandsons is getting married! How did that happen? Time flies.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  6. Yay for weddings! Such fun!
I love that passionflix is going to make some into TV shows. I tend to like the TV show adaptations better because they don't have to cut as much.
    Have a great week!

  7. Good luck with your studying. I am glad you didn't lost your job, but it is smart to have a solid back up plan. I always cry at wedding, fictional and read. I am total trash for them.

  12. I'm noticing a lot of us lag a bit on the blogs in the summer. I even have posts blogged ahead but forget to use them. LOL Summer is flying by fats. Enjoy while you can. And it's good to hear your job is still somewhat secure:)
