Review

I have to start by saying this book is hilarious. I haven't laughed out loud so much in a book in so long. I was really worried going into this book that I wouldn't be able to connect with the protagonist as lately I have realised I am just not connecting to really young characters anymore (probably because am getting so old LOL) but thankfully I really connected with Anna. She is such a fun character.

The Story

The Story was so fun and cute and it just made me laugh and smile throughout. Anna is a quirky girl and has to adapt to living in London since her dad became famous with his book and he's also a highly respected journalist. When her dad gets engaged to a very famous actress, the paparazzi descend and Anna has to cope with this new found fame, possibly being the new it girl.

The Story is fun and hilarious but it has message to it. And I think that it's don't change yourself for anyone, be who you want to be and if that's recreating film scenes with your dog, do that. Be yourself and be awesome.

Anna really goes on a journey in The It girl and it was fun to be on the ride with her. I loved her two best friends and I loved her romantic dilemmas. I was rooting for one guy thought out, he is just so quirky and cute and I love him.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who wants a fun read, with laugh out loud moments and a quirky relatable character. I look forward to my next adventures with Anna.
