Places to visit in your state.
There are so many places to visit in Florida! My personal favorites are Disney World and Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. That’s where Harry Potter world is, and it’s always such a blast to go there. Miami is also a can’t miss it city, and the Keys are great for a relaxing island vacation. Florida has a huge variety of beaches, so there are so many to choose from! I live closest to Delray Beach, so that’s where I go most often with my friends.
Places to eat
The Around the World showcase at Epcot in Disney World is well known for featuring cuisine from all around the world. Every fall, Epcot has their “Food and Wine Festival” where you can try foods and wines from various countries. It’s so much fun!
Quirky things about your state.
Florida is known for having extremely strange news stories. If you see something REALLY strange in the headlines, it’s likely that it happened in Florida!
Famous people from your state
Ariana Grande is from Boca Raton, which is the town where I live! Bailee Madison is also from Florida (I sat in front of her at a Taylor Swift concert once and got a picture with her), as is Peyton List. (Fun fact: Peyton List’s aunt is my dental hygienist!)
Authors or books set in your state
The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings takes place in Florida!
THE TRANSCEND TIME SAGA
I love Florida! Universal and Disney World are wonderful. The Keys, St. Petersburg and St. Augustine can't be beat for history and interesting sights to see and you can't beat the beaches on the Panhandle. Hope you're able to visit one day soon!
ReplyDeleteIf I could live anywhere else in the world it would be Florida. I am huge fan of all the touristy thing especially Walt Disney World. Next year I hope to hire a car and really explore, it is a huge state and there is so much to see!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
