YA Contemporary Books to read this summer (Book Passion For Life)

Welcome Donna @ Book Passion For Life with her top YA Contemporary Books to read this summer. Show Donna some comment love below!

Everyone loves summer. Me, I prefer winter or autumn but there is one thing that I love about summer and that’s being able to relax in the garden or beach or park and reading an awesome book, and what better way with a book to match the weather. So when it’s summer, I always feel like reading a YA contemporary book.

So I decided that this summer I was going to try and tackle some contemporary reads. And here’s my list;

My Life with the Boys Next Door Huntley Fitzpatrick

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

Breathe, Annie Breathe by Miranda Kenneally

Pulled Under by Michelle Dalton

Breathing by Cheryl Renee Herbsman

On the Fence by Kasie West

So far I’ve managed to read 2 out of these 6 books and hopefully I get time to read more!

Have you read any of these books or are you looking forward to any? Have a great summer!

  1. Since You’ve Been Gone seems really nice, I'll probably add it to my TBR pile :)

  2. You know what I read that I was surprised by? The Revised Life of Ellie Sweet by Stephanie Morrill. Gave me all sorts of happy feels in the end. Enjoy your reading!
