#Review The Wright Brother by K.A. Linde

Today I have a review of The Wright Brother by K.A Linde. Thank you to Inkslinger Pr for a e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Blurb

I'd dated his brother.
He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.
I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.
Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.
Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.
When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

The Wright Brother is the first book in a contemporary romance series by K.A. Linde however it can be read as a standalone. Here is four thoughts on The Wright Brother;

*The leading lady and me had a bumpy relationship. We had a mixed relationship but in the end she grow on me. The book is told in two POV between Emery and our leading man Jensen and I definitely liked reading from his perspective more.

*I really liked some of the side characters especially Emery's best friend and all the Wright siblings and I can't wait to here their stories in future books.

*I enjoyed the story line and learning all about the Wrights and both Emery and Jensen's pasts. I enjoyed the will they won't they and the miscommunication to a point, it did get a little annoying sometimes.

*The pacing of the book was good even though it did slow a little in the middle for me but I did enjoy K.A. Linde's writing style.

Overall this was a good read, it not anything I haven't read before but I do really want to read the next books in the series as the next book is about a Wright brother I am really interested in.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

She loves reading fantasy novels, geeking out over Star Wars, binge-watching Supernatural, and dancing in her spare time.

Does The Wright Brother sound like something you would be interested in? Thoughts?

Some Of My Favorite Book Covers {Let's Judge A Book By It's Cover}

I love me a beautiful book cover. So what better thing to do than to share some of my favorite covers.

Now I definitely do judge a book by a cover, I know its wrong but we all do it. Here is some of my favorite covers

A little in love by Susan E Flecter - I adore this cover as well as the book. I never usually like people on covers but I love this one. I call this book my hidden gem, you can read my review here

A Game Of Thrones by George R R Martin - I own a copy of this like everyone else and like alot of people I haven't read it. I adore the edition I have. I just love grey colors in books and this just looks so atmospheric.

When We Collided by Emery Lord - This cover, just look at it. I love bright covers and this is just so pretty. When We Collided was my favorite YA read of 2016 but for some reason I don't have a review of it. I know total blogger fail. I do want to re read this to write a review hopefully this year.

Anna And The French Kiss Trilogy by Stephanie Perkins - I love these covers! They are so simple and colourful and a far cry from the original Anna cover, lets not talk about that. I also adore this trilogy its just a fun fluffy romance. Check out my review of the trilogy here

Harry Potter by JK Rowling- I love the new UK paperback covers of Harry Potter! They are such beautiful covers and each piece of cover art represents that book perfectly.

The Paris Secret by Karen Swan - This was a pure cover buy. I just love the picture and the colour. I haven't picked up this book yet but I want to soon.

Lyrebird by Cecelia Ahern - I went to a signing for this book back in December which you can check out here . I still haven't read this book but the cover is just stunning and I don't think this photo even does it justice. It also feels really nice.

The Winners Curse by Marie Rutkoski - This cover is just so beautiful. I don't usually like the covers with girls in big dresses on but I love this one. I just love the colour of the dress. I also really enjoyed this book even though I haven't read the rest of the trilogy. You can check out my review here

Alice in zombieland by Gena Showalter - These covers just go so well together. And I think its cause they match so well that I love them. I don't know if I would like them individually but as a group their stunning. This is another series I really need to read as I own three of them, so come on.

The Memory Book by Lara Avery - Come on just look. This cover gives me so many feels!! I love the colour and the picture and its just, STUNNING! I really want to read this so bad. Also this is the US edition, I didn't like the UK edition.

So what is some of your fave covers?

February Wrap Up 2017

Another month gone! I can't believe we are already in March. As always the year is flying in. This month was an OK reading month. Compared to my January Wrap up where I read 11 books this month I only read 4 books, well nearly five I have about 10% of a book to go that I could have read in February but I kinda gave up. But I will finish it in few days.

I had a bit of a slump this month for a few reasons, firstly a book put me in a slump because I loved it so much and it was the first in a trilogy and I needed the next one and nothing else would do. Secondly I felt like I have been reading too many New Adult and Adult contemporary romance books over the last while and they where all starting to merge. And thirdly I kinda got the writing bug and reading got behind. After all that this get to the books I read in February!

Hope (less) - Judgment of six #1 by Melissa Haag (3.5*) - I needed  little bit of a PNR in my life after so many contemporary romances and I found it in Hope (less).

*The Iron King (The Iron Fey #1) by Julie Kawaga (3.5*) - I have had this on my book shelf for years and just got the urge to pick it up and I really surprised myself with enjoying it as fantasy is a genre I struggle with, especially ones with Fey.

All reviews for the books above will be up on my blog this month.

I still haven't found my 5 star book this year but hopefully this month will be the month.

I also had a good blogging month again not as good as January but a good one none the less. Here is the posts encase you missed them:

How was your month?

You are cordially invited to witness the union of Jenna and Kenneth...

Isn’t it every woman’s dream to marry the perfect guy?
Mr. Tall, Dark, Rich, and Handsome, the one who waits for me at the altar, is that man.
It's what my family wants.
For a long time, it was what I thought I wanted, too.
Then I met Brandon, a ruggedly handsome guy with inked up sleeves, who turns my dreams into flames of heat.
What kind of person am I—an engaged woman constantly fantasizing and lusting over my best friend?
When Kenneth is away, Brandon fills all my dangerous desires, even though we haven’t so much as kissed.
I'm torn between doing the right thing, and following my heart.
If I make one wrong choice, I risk losing it all.

| About the Authors |

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, USA Today bestselling author, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn't do something soon, it would be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So she made a quick decision to quit her job and reinvented herself as a Naughty and Nice Romance Author.

She fancies herself all of the following: Reader, Writer, Dark Chocolate Lover, Ice Cream Worshipper, Coffee Drinker (swears the coffee, chocolate, and ice cream should be added as part of the USDA food groups), Lover of Grey Goose (and an extra dirty martini), #WalterThePuppy Lover, and if you’re ever around her for more than five minutes, you’ll find out she’s a non-stop talker. By the way, all the stories she tells about herself are true.

Please find her books and stalk her at http://www.amhargrove.com

Many years later, she got a crazy idea to write a novel and set out to try to publish it. With over a dozen titles published under various pen names, the rest is history. Her journey has been a blessing, and a dream realized. She looks forward to many more memories to come.

The Struggle's Of A Possible Writer

Note: This is a ramble, a ramble of the most rambles, you may want to skip it if your not a fan of rambles :) I am kinda a poet and I didn't even know *seriously stop*

I have always been a reader as far back as I can remember and even when I was younger and couldn't read on my own I remember my mum reading me stories and a lot of the time making stories up for me. I have NEVER thought of myself as a writer, I never had the passion to write or felt the need to, I left that up to my sister. However something strange happened this month. I had a book idea and it stuck and it wouldn't leave my head to the point that it gave me a reading slump and I couldn't read anything. I am kinda still in that slump.

So I thought what will I do, will I try to ignore it or try to write it, or at least write something down. I went with trying to write something down. I wrote a few characters, a little story arc. But now am at the point of how to go about writing it. I know your thinking it's easy just write but I am struggling. And then it has me thinking does the story really want to be written, am I a so called writer?

In real life and even with blogging and reading I like to kinda plan a lot and sometimes I plan alot and don't even carry out the plans. And I have a feeling this might happen with my writing. But for now am going to go with it.

So what is the point of this post? Well I am declaring myself as a possible, maybe would be writer. I want to try and do something with this story but it will most likely just live in a drawer after a few weeks but never the less, lets give it a go!
