Sunday Post #10

The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post was created by Caffeniated Book Reviewer this is a post where we recap on the going on's on the blog the week previous and the week coming up as well as the awesome books we have received, bought or been gifted for review

Lie In's I don't remember what they are?! My body clock is tuned to me getting up daily at 6.30 for week so when I had a day of on Friday I was still up at 6.30 :( however with my day of me and my friend went for Breakfast and it was the nicest breakfast ever, pancakes, bacon, eggs and syrup. Now I have never has syrup before with my breakfast but it was super nice and now one of my favourite things.

I have a few new ideas for the blog that I want your opinions on.

Idea one: In April/May I want to have a blind book giveaway. Basically I cover books in paper so you can't see the cover and tell you the genre and maybe a teaser from the book and you can enter to win it.

Idea two: I want to promote me UK YA authors. I am a UK blogger but don't seem to read a lot of UK authors which I think I need to fix. I want to feature a UK author every week. So leave me some suggestions of UK YA authors I should check out

Idea three: Running my blog on a schedule. I am thinking about having a basic schedule for my blog so you all know what's coming up. The schedule would be the same each week with added reviews and blog tours each week.

Tentative schedule:

Sunday: Sunday Post
Sunday: Upcoming Releases
Monday: Mortal Mondays (Review of a mortal instruments story each week a I have the Bane Chronicles and the new shorts releasing about Simon
Tuesday: Top Ten Tuesday
Wednesday: Waiting on Wednesday
Friday: UK YA highlight

Lastly I won a great giveaway to have a character named after me in author Sarah Alderson's next book!

  1. That's so great about the contest! What fun to have a character named after you! I've toyed with the idea of doing more of a schedule on my blog but so far have lacked discipline. I love the idea though. Have a great week and enjoy your new books!

  3. Those are some great ideas!

As for lie-ins, after thirty years of getting up at 5:30 a.m. for work, it took until this year (nine years post-retirement) to finally wake up later. Sometimes I still wake up at 6 a.m., or 6:30, but that's better than 5:30...LOL.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  4. Ohh, those sound like great ideas! I kind of have a schedule for my blog, but it is more like my own weird ritual than anything else ;) I am REALLY looking forward to reading Everything, Everything! It sounds so great, and I am a bit jealous that it is on NG already for you! Hope you enjoy all the new books and have a great week!

  5. Congratulations on your win. That is so cool having a character named in a book! You have a lot of wonderful books this week. I see one or two I'd like for me!
I can't stay in bed either. I'm always up before daylight even on days off. I guess I think I'll waste time sleeping.
