Waiting On Wednesday #42

Waiting On Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the spine where we spotlight books we are highly anticipating.

Underwater by Marisa Reinhardt

In the aftermath of a deadly high school shooting, 17-year-old Morgan is an agoraphobic trapped in the apartment she shares with her mother and brother; when surfer boy Evan moves in next door, she has to face the life she’s been missing.

Expected Publication: Macmillan/Farrar, Straus, & Giroux January 12, 2016

Why am excited?

This one sounds really heart breaking and not your typical YA I like a YA book to push boundaries and I think Underwater will do that.

What are you waiting on?

  1. Oh, this one sounds intriguing. I'm actually okay with typical YA contemporaries, but those that go BEYOND the norms are even better! Awesome pick!
