Fave 2012 read and why?
My favorite read this past year has to be Dead Heat by Lisa Nowak. The subject matter is dark, but the characters are so full of life that they become your best friends. This novel moved me to tears on several occasions.
Fave YA author and why?
Oh, I don't have a favorite anything, really. I enjoy the work of so many authors.
YA author you would recommend we check out?
Andrew Smith, Lisa Nowak, Megg Jensen, Stacey Wallace Benefiel, Karly Kirkpatrick, G.P. Ching, and Cheri Lasota are some of the few I'd recommend.
Book crush?
Shine by Lauren Myracle
Fave female from a book and why?
Katniss for obvious reasons. She's badass
