In My Mailbox (#8)

In my mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren were everyone puts up the books they have bought, received or got from the library!

So this week I didn't receive any books in the mail, and I didn't get any from the library, however I did buy one book!

I bought:

*A hardback copy of Burned by P.C. and Kristin Cast (Book 7 in the House of Night Series)

I was so happy with this buy! I have read the first six in the House of Night Series and enjoyed them. I saw the 7th book and just had to have, not because I really want to read it BUT it was a bargain! I got it for £1! I was shocked at the price, it is brand new as well and in hardback :) Hopefully I will get round to reading this in the fall as I have loads to read over the summer!

So I wanted to use this post to tell you guys a few things!

*I start a new job on Monday *woop woop* so blog post's are not going be put up till prob after 7PM UK time now! I have loads of great posts for July, with lots of author interviews, giveaways and my first blog tour!*

*Can you guys in the comments below tell me some YA books you recommend I should buy! I haven't really bought any new releases in a while, so I want your guys advise on some new releases I should buy!

Megan :)

  1. Thanks for stopping by my IMM! I haven't read any House Of Nights but I've heard they're really good. As for YA recommendations, I'm near the end of Tempest Rising by Tracey Deebs and it's fantastic so you might like to give it a try. Happy reading :)

  2. Good luck with the new job!

I really liked the Forest of hands and teeth series if you fancy a bit of Zombie YA - The last in the series has only been released for a little while now.

  3. Thanks for stopping by my IMM. There are so many good YA, hard to recommend just a few. I'd say give Beautiful Demons by Sarra Cannon a shot. I really like the whole series. :)

  7. DIVERGENT if you don't already own it. HOURGLASS and A NEED SO BEAUTIFUL are also wonderful reads. I haven't read any of the House of Night series, though I do believe P.C. Cast was blurbed on FALLEN & the third book in that series, PASSION, was recently released too, if that's something that you think you like/if you haven't already read that series.

Congrats on the new job & the great price for the HoN book :).
